Police in Las Vegas say they've arrested a man seen in video captured by a doorbell camera that appeared to show him beating, then kidnapping a woman early Wednesday morning.

Darnell Rodgers, 23, was arrested Thursday morning and faces kidnapping and domestic battery charges in connection to the incident that occurred in front of a Las Vegas home in the early morning hours of New Year's Day.

Police say the victim was also found and is now safe.

Original story follows below:

The resident who owns the home where the attack occurred contacted police shortly after midnight on New Year's Eve. The terrifying video shows a woman running up to the house, banging on the door and screaming for help. A man can be seen jumping out of a white vehicle and running up the sidewalk, grabbing the woman and throwing her to the ground. The man then kicks the woman in the stomach and then pushed her down the steps.

"Why would you do that?" he shouts at her. The man can be seen pulling the woman to her feet and yanking her back to the car, while swearing at her and shouting "Get in the car!"

Las Vegas Metropolitan police posted the video to their YouTube channel in hopes of identifying the man or the victim seen in the video.

Warning: The video is disturbing and contains strong language.

Police say the suspect is believed to be driving a white Hyundai Sonata with a sunroof.

Police are asking for anyone who may have any information about the incident to please contact them at 702-828-3111 or, to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
